Here is what I enjoy doing
Playing
I used to play in a rock band during the eighties. After a break I started making music again with Ricco. In the meantime I have joined a band - the Dirty Water Dogs - and play out regulary again.

Traveling
Driving through the United States with each of my sons has been an absolute highlight. You can experience our journeys here: TransAmerica 07 with Tim and Rock'n Roll Roadtrip 09 with Ricco.
Working
I have worked for a number of companies both in Germany and the United States. I enjoy what I am doing, but I'm happy when I'm back home in our yard. I have a rather long commute, which I use for some programming projects.
Shooting

I have been taking digital photographs for years now and I am
fascinated by the medium.
I also enjoy maintaining these web pages. I find that creative work provides a nice
balance to my job and so I spend my train rides "creatively".
Snowboarding
When Tim and Ricco wanted to start snowboarding in 2000 I decided to give it a try myself. In the meantime we are all hooked, and we even convinced Ke to try it, too. Since snowboarding is predominately a teen sport, I risk being referred to as one of the "gray's on tray's".
Sailing
Sailing had been an old dream of mine. Since we are living in close proximity to the ocean I could make it real and took a sailing class.
